🛠️ Job Description & Responsibilities

As an OFCH Apprentice, you’ll undergo rigorous skill development while contributing to daily plant operations. Key responsibilities include assisting senior technicians in machinery maintenance, following safety protocols in chemical handling units, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems, and documenting operational data. You’ll train alongside seasoned professionals in departments like Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Chemical Processing, gaining exposure to fertilizer production workflows from raw material processing to packaging.

OFCH fosters a safety-first, collaborative culture where apprentices receive mentorship through weekly skill assessments. 🎯 Eligibility Criteria & Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications:

• ITI certification in any of these trades: Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Turner, Machinist, Welder, or Electronics.

• Certificate must be from NCVT/SCVT-affiliated institute.

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic understanding of industrial tools and equipment.

• Ability to interpret technical diagrams.

• Physical fitness for shop-floor environments.

Age Limit (as of 31/07/2025):

• Minimum: 18 years

• Maximum: 24 years (Age relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwD as per govt. norms).

Preferences:

• Candidates domiciled in Andhra Pradesh.

• Prior workshop/internship exposure (not mandatory).
